A blindfolded sensory maze within a caravan.
A collaborative project reconstructing our old family caravan for Electric Picnic Festival 2022.
A simple concept to provoke a sensory overload;
A mirrored front to feast the eyes before being blindfolded and given a pair of headphones playing fast euphoric trance music.
You were then given a toffee bonbon to tickle your taste buds and led up into the caravan to make your way through the maze.
Within the maze, the walls were covered in various textures to touch; slippery slimy & sticky, bubbly buttony & rounded. Cushioned obstacles obscured your pathways & spongey ramps led you to believe you were anywhere but in a caravan.
Hanging fabrics soaked in essential oils brushed passed your face and a minty water mist was lightly sprayed to heighten your sense of smell.
